He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Junior Carroll and Catherine Delong Carroll; and his brothers, Donnie Carroll, Dennis Carroll and Eric Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda King Carroll; his sons, David Carroll (Rena) and Kenneth Carroll (Melissa); his grandchildren, Megan, Hannah, Landon and London; and his sister Edna Carroll Ellis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brier Creek Memorial Gardens (7600 ACC Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27617).
