He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Sims and Louise B. Sims; and his brother Marvin J. Sims. He is survived by: his nephew Darrick Sims (Morrai); his niece April Sims; his great-nephew Jalen Sims; his great-nieces, Tierra and Jada Sims; his sister-in-law Linda B. Sims; his godson Donald Ragin; and his aunt Catherine Sims. He is also survived by cousins and relatives.
