He is survived by: his wife Susan Hudspeth Copeland of Banner Elk; his son Tripp; his daughter-in-law Maggie; his granddaughter Finley of Charleston, SC; his son Thomas of Denver, CO; his grandson Joseph; his daughter-in-law Brittany; and his granddaughter Jewel of Denver, CO..
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church (1161 Balm Hwy, Banner Elk, NC 28604).
