It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edwin Carlton Lafferty of Durham, North Carolina, born in Welch, West Virginia, who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mastin Lafferty and Anvalee Vedis Lafferty; and his brother Roger Brook. He is survived by: his wife Gloris Vaughn Lafferty; his children, LaVonna "Loopie" Williams (Leslie) of Regina, Joseph Eric Lafferty (Kimberlee) of Boise and Melissa Bucala (John) of Graham, NC.; his grandchildren, Logan, Zack, Tate, Thomas, Baylee Williams, Joshua and Michael Bucala; and his brothers, Jesse Charles Lafferty and Philip Jonathan Lafferty.
