He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaiah Henderson and Mamie Bumpass Henderson; his grandparents, Adam, Ruby Henderson, Nick and Nancy Bumpass; his sister Ruby Poole; and his brothers-in-law, Mickey Crawley, Sylvester Cameron and Keith Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Freddie Ramsey Henderson; his stepchildren, Johnetta McCain (Andy) of Durham and Lenard Smith (Keva) of Roxboro; his grandchildren, Jalen Smith of Jacksonville, Ah'Mariy McCain and Antoinette McCain of Durham; his siblings, Joann Lunsford (Lonzell) of Durham, Drucilla Cameron (Tony) of Roxboro, Wanda Cameron (Randy) of Timberlake, Mary Williams of Roxboro, Freda Crawley of Roxboro, Andrew Henderson of Timberlake, Theodis Henderson (Lynn) of Durham, Harry Henderson (Thelma) of Graham and Carlton Henderson (Trela) of Durham; his mother-in-law Hallie Breeze (Benny) of Roxboro; his brothers-in-law, Clyde Poole of Timberlake, Landra Ramsey (Michele) of Rougemont, William Ramsey (Sherry) of Roxboro, Chesley Ramsey of Roxboro and Matt Donald Cameron of Maryland; his great-aunt Mary Henderson of Rougemont; and his sisters-in-law, Juliand Crutchfield (Desi) of Roxboro, Patricia Carrington (Vick) of Cary, Lynn Ramsey (Wayne) of Rougemont, Lenoria Ramsey (Jack) of Timberlake and Cynthia Nelson of Roxboro. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
