With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Jean Marlowe of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on June 8, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvis Crabtree and Beatrice Crabtree; her brother Phillip Crabtree; and her daughter-in-law Camille Marlowe. She is survived by: her husband John C. Marlowe Jr.; her siblings, Edna Carden and Thomas Crabtree; her sons, John C. Marlowe, III, Michael Marlowe (Ilknur) and Douglas Marlowe (Mary); her grandchildren, Caroline Ciampa (Bobby), Will Marlowe (Emma), Madison Marlowe (John), Michael Marlowe (Rachel), Jimmer Yuce (Tugba), Deniz Yuce and Nikolas Marlowe; her great grandchildren, Ava, Richmond Ciampa and Dillon Marlowe; and her sisters-in-law, June Wigginton and Annette Brauchler.
