As Esther departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Esther may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Esther leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kinlaw Jacobs and Beulah Jacobs; her husband James "Scrappy" Barnett; and her brother James "Buddy" Jacobs. She is survived by: her children, Ernest "Ray" Jones (Marilen), John Wayne Jones (Augustina), Richard "Ricky" Jones, JoAnn Dunn, Gail Holder (Steve) and Beulah "Madge" Bradley (Larry). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and numerous other loving family members and friends.
