He was predeceased by: his father Jasper M. Adams; his son David; and his siblings, Julian Adams, Ronald Adams, Arthur "CoCo" Adams, Marvin Adams, Dorothy Adams, Wanda Adams Cook and Betty Adams Ertell.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hunt Adams; and his sisters, Joan Adams Dixon and Nancy Adams Wood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
