He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Arumí Xercavins of Barcelona and Piedad Noé Flores of Quito; his former wife Martha Cordero Moscoso of Arumí; and his brother Francisco Arumí Noé. He is survived by: his wife Sonia Isabel Arellano; his children, Maria Arumí Glover, Ana Cristina Arumí, Isabel Pamela Gutierrez, Fernando J. Arumi and Francisco Javier Gutierrez; his sisters-in-law, Susana Cordero, Miriam Cordero and Lupe Cordero; his grandchildren, Alexandra Arumi, Joshua Arumi, Justin Glover, Ezra Arumí Alexander, Christopher Glover, Pia Isabel Alexander and Martina Proaño; his great grandchild Ava Lopez; and his friends, Ruben, Cynthia Loor, Evelyn McNary, Michael "Miguelito" Yuffee and Edu Proaño.
