She is survived by: her daughters, Vereial King, Olivia Hughes, Darlene Dowdy, Marlene Barbee and Michelle Sherald Ellis; and her sister Hattie Hayes. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a host of extended family members and many dear friends.
