She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin Lane Lowder; her parents, James Albert Helms and Frances Juanita Russell Helms; and her great grandchild Josie Reece Dennis. She is survived by: her children, Lisa, Jim, Lynn and Lori; her grandchildren, Jamison, Caroline, Olivia, Sarah, Gigi and Quill; and her brother Rayvon Helms (Jenny Helms).
