She was predeceased by: her husband John Charles Atkins; and her sister Bettie Sandy. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Atkins Carden, Angela Atkins Yilling (Louie) and Philip Atkins; her grandchildren, Robert Carden, Jr. (Alice), Jonathan Carden (Victoria), Rachel Frances Barnes (Brandon) and Rebekah Yilling; her great grandchildren, Benett Barnes, Louis Barnes, Charles Harvey Carden and Chloe Frances Carden; and also, Lisa Frances Sandy and Kyle Sandy (Scott Daughtrey). She is also survived by nieces and nephews including her sister.
