He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Otis and Eunice Brainard; his spouse I. Jean Brainard (McWhorter); his grandchildren, Hannah Joy Van Vleet (David Van Vleet), Jonathan Brainard White, David Josiah Brainard and Benjamin Daniel Brainard; and his siblings, Dale Brainard (Cheryl), Ralph Brainard, Elaine Klink and Robert Brainard. He was also cherished by his wife, children and grandchildren.
