He is survived by: his sons, Bobby High and Mickey High; his sisters, Jeannette Hodges (Lamond) of Oxford, NC, Billie High (Sam Brantley) of Durham, NC and Joyce Flowers (Don) of Conover, NC; and his grandson Nicolas High (Christina) of Raleigh, NC..

The family has requested no service or visitation due to the on-going pandemic concerns in the community.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be sent in his name to Duke Homecare and Hospice with hopes it will serve others who are in need of care.
