It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Wayne McGill (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on April 1, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Mae McGill and Fred McGill Jr.; and his siblings, Joe McGill, Cyrus McGill and Sylvia McGill.
He is survived by: his aunt Christine Parker; his siblings, Larry McGill (Beverly), Ronnie McGill, Michael McGill, Iris Rayford, Cheryl McGill, Gloria Woodard and Gloria Tucker; his sons, Chris McGill (Mother Pearl McGill) and Tarik Nelson; and his grandchildren, Christopher Lamond McGill, Amire Shealey and Treyvion Goodwin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many special friends.
