Gayle leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Gayle’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Gayle will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Morgan and Edna Morgan; her husband James Taylor; and her brothers, Donald Morgan and Wallace Morgan.
She is survived by: her son Greg Taylor (Diane); and her grandson Geremy (Lacey).
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens (3712 Cheek Rd, Durham, NC 27704).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Redwood Volunteer Fire Department, 4901 Cheek Road, Durham, North Carolina 27704 or the Animal Protection Society of Durham, 2117 East Club Blvd., Durham, North Carolina 27704.
