It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Lewis Dean (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on December 3, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Ruth; his mother Nammy; his sister Mary Ann Chambers (John); his children, Susan (Chris LeGrand), Steven and Patrick (Missy); his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Dean and Phyllis Perkins; his grandchildren, Andrew (Annie), Emily, Ben, Caroline, Alex, Courtney, Camryn and Kenan; and his great grandchildren, Brigid and Audrey. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
