He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Hendrick and Gladys Brown Hendrick; and his brother John Thomas Hendrick. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Surratt Hendrick; his sons, John Vestal Hendrick of Oxford, NC. and Wesley McClellan Hendrick (Denise) of Oxford, NC.; his sisters, Sandra H. Berry and Jane Rose H. Snipes; his grandchildren, Jessica Elaine Hendrick Winston (Alexander), Daniel Hendrick, Lydia Hendrick and Noah Hendrick; and his great grandchildren, Seth Alexander Winston and Logan Douglas Winston.
The family requests that all attendees wear appropriate face coverings and adhere to the safe practice of social distancing.
