With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glenda Carol Thomasson of Durham, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Clayton Davis and Vera Francis Rhew Davis; her husband Joseph Benjamin Thomasson; and her brothers, Wayne Davis, Ronnie Davis and Ray Davis.
She is survived by: her children, David Thomasson (Elisabeth) and Angie Query (Samuel); her siblings, Jimmy Davis (Gayle) and Esther Kaye Thomas (Archie); and her grandchildren, Loren Renee Query, Haley Marie Loyst (Kaylee), Kaitlyn Anne Bradley (Jarod), Anna Grace Thomasson and Aaron David Thomasson. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hock Family Pavilion (Duke Hospice) or Liberty Baptist Church Missions Ministry.
