It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Spaulding Hill (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Hill; her daughter Barbara Edwards; her brother Reginald Spaulding; her grandson Montre Richardson; her brother-in-law Judge Roland Hayes; and her parents, D. Fuller Spaulding and Reba Spaulding (Anderson).
She is survived by: her daughters, Willa Richardson and Tanya Spaulding-Smeltz; her grandchildren, Tracey Watson and Cheyne Burwell (Victoria); her great grandchildren, Carley, Christian Watson, Casimir Burwell, Monee Richardson and Syncere Douthit; her sister Barbara Hayes; and her sibling's children, Reba Warren (Rod), Roland, John Hayes, Lawrence and Jerry Hardy. She is also survived by cousins, great nephews and nieces, friends and caregivers.
