She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert N. Perry and Dora Hedgepeth Perry; her husband Linnie Lewis Oakley, Sr.; and her siblings, Barbara Perry Wynne, Albert Donald "Bud" Perry, Marion "Artis" Perry and Ricky Ravon Perry.
She is survived by: her son Linnie Oakley, Jr. (Angie) of Durham; her granddaughters, Susan Oakley Lohmueller (Kurt) of Georgia, Karen Oakley Smith (Bill) of Apex and Sherri Oakley Watson (Joe) of Durham; and her sisters-in-law, Sandra Carden Perry, Alice Perry Janney and Barbara Oakley Hildebran. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren.
