He is survived by: his sister Melissa Shawn Stokes Beasley; his close friend Wayne Holloway; his wife Morgan Ray Stokes; his daughter Taylor Ray-Faison; his parents, Leslie Stokes and Harry Stokes; his parents-in-law, Leon Ray and Shenethia Ray; his siblings-in-law, Twone Beasley, Ashley Ray-Boop and Tyler Boop; his aunts and uncles, Joseph James, III (Linda), Shawn James, Susan James, Jamie Kinney (Steven), Craig Stokes, Karen Kent (Michael) and Donna Queen; his friends, Chawanda Holloway, Timothy Shawn James (Anjelica) and Christopher Williams (Allison); and his nieces, Ryan and Rhys Beasley (Melissa). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Union Baptist Church (904 N Roxboro St, Durham, NC 27701).
