He is survived by: his wife Edna Jones Carden; his sons, Lee Carden (Regina) of Maryland and Todd Carden (Tonya) of Timberlake; his siblings, Tony Carden, Donald "Donnie" Carden (Sherrie) and Brenda Walls; his grandson Steven Todd Carden (Jasmine); his great grandchildren, Aniyah Carden, Raven Carden and Josiah Carden; and his sister-in-law Nancy Francis. He is also survived by grandfather and great-grandfather and spoiling his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Hudson Funeral Home (211 S Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hudson Funeral Home Chapel (211 S Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703).
