Hugh Wade Gresham Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hugh Wade Gresham of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Hugh Wade may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Hugh Wade touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Gresham and Elizabeth Arthur. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his daughter Laura Clark (Larry) of Raleigh, NC; and his pets, Barker and Pixie.
