We are sad to announce that, on September 7, 2022, at the age of 90, Iris Earle Jordan Byerly of Durham, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hamilton Jordan and Betty Cribb Jordan. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Charles Tate Byerly, Jr.; her daughters, Lynne Byerly Griffin (Bill) and Kathy Byerly Searles (Tim); her grandchildren, Jordan Searles Hains (Drew), Elizabeth Griffin Moore (Clint) and Mary Lapsley Griffin (Derrick Currin); her great grandchildren, Aylett Byerly Moore, Eleanor James Moore, Levi Miller Hains and Charlie Ann Hains; and her sisters, Betty Lee Jordan Gandy and Frances Jordan Summerall. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
