It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Hoyt Pendergrass (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on August 11, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Atlas Pendergrass and Bessie Horne Pendergrass; his wife Helen Rose Hahola Pendergrass; his children, Peter, Beth, Greg and John; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Peter, Jessica, Chris, Joanie, Jack and John; and his great grandchild Romeo.
