He was predeceased by: his father Jack P. Pizzolato, Sr. of Raleigh; and his sisters, Susan and Dana Pizzolato. He is survived by: his mother Carol Joan Pizzolato of Raleigh; his wife Evelyn Feder Pizzolato of Raleigh; his daughters, Sarah Pizzolato and Susan Pizzolato Norris of Durham; and his son-in-law Andrew Norris of Durham. He is also survived by family members, friends.
