He is survived by: his children, Jo Ann Mason Clay of Bayboro, NC, James Mason, Jr. of Durham, NC and Allen Mason (Nina) of Durham, NC; his grandchildren, Jasmyne Clay, Benjamin Mason, Alexander Mason, Ariana Mason, Josephine Mason, Allen Mason, Alina Mason, Katherine Mason and Charlotte Mason; and his children, Christopher Warren (Shyri) and Linda Warren. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and friends.
