He is survived by: his wife Sherry Gurley; his brother Marshall Lyle Gurley, Sr.; his children, James Gurley, Jr. (Jimmy), Michael Gurley (Tracey) and Heather Gaster (Preston); his grandchildren, Justin Gaster, Madison Radford (Mitch), Natalie Gaster and Emily Jensen; his nephew Lyle Gurley, Jr.; his great-nieces, Candice Mercer Roberts, Wendy Mercer and Sarah Ponzi (family: Jeff Lampson); and his great-nephew Tommy Lampson.
The family appreciates flowers, and memorials are preferred to Military Missions in Action, Durham Rescue Mission, and Hospice.
