With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Hudson of Durham, North Carolina, born in Danville, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney Hudson and Mildred Hudson; and his brother Walter Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Harris Hudson; his daughters, Mandy Chavis (Rich), Courtney Williams (Matthew) and Paige Goss (Andy); his grandchildren, Taylor Bunn (Matthew), Skylar Chavis, Bracy Chavis, Jacob Williams and Ellie Goss; and his brothers, Rodney Hudson, Jr. (Brenda) and William "Bill" Hudson (Cathy). He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Durham Memorial Baptist Church.
