Janie Pearce Pope Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 15, 2022, at the age of 73, Janie Pearce Pope (Durham, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Pearce and William Pearce; her daughter Debra Sherron; and her siblings, William "Bill" Pearce, Rex Pearce and Betsy Jean Wheeler.

She is survived by: her husband Larry Pope; her children, Marty E. Sherron (Wendy) of Surfside Beach, Lisa A. Sherron (Mike), Crystal Pope and Tammy Davis; her grandchildren, Marty E. Sherron, II (Crystal), Cody E. Sherron (Candace), Alexis Pope, Joey David Pope (Carla), Brittney Pope, Cynthia Noell, Aubree Pope, Brantley Queen and Connor David Sherron; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt David Pope and Jaxon Mathew Sherron.
