He was predeceased by: his father Paul Purvis; and his brother Larry Purvis. He is survived by: his wife Sharry Purvis; his children, Katy Purvis Patton (Corey), Michelle Purvis Mastri (Jim) and Jeff Purvis; his grandsons, Nicholas and Michael Mastri; and his brothers, Clarence Purvis (Janis) and Roy Purvis.
