With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay R. Williams (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on December 8, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jay departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jay may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jay leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Iola Williams (Reigle) and Jesse Stanley Williams of York, Pennsylvania.; and his brother Jacques E. Williams. He is survived by: his partner LuSan Hill of Durham; and his nephews, Jacques B. Williams of St. Louis, MO and Jeffrey S. Williams of Oak Ridge, NC..
