She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wilmo Hall, Sr. and Thelma Campbell Hall; her granddaughter Jessica Pittard Simpson; and her brothers, John "JT" Hall and David Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Vaughn Pittard of Durham, Donald Eugene Vaughn, Jr. (Anita) of Chapel Hill, Mark Vaughn (Shannon) of Wake Forest and Michael Vaughn (Suzanne) of Cary; her brother Charles Hall, Jr. of Virginia; her grandchildren, Brandon Pittard, Christopher Vaughn, Lindsay Vaughn, Rachel Vaughn and Jena Vaughn; her great grandchildren, Katarina and Lilith Simpson; Julian Simpson.
