She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Booker Dameron and Rosa Jackson Dameron; her son Gibson "Gibby" Smith; and her brothers, Oren, Nick and Robert Dameron.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Smith (Cathy), Debra Roberts (Jeff), Alan Smith (Julie), John Ed Carroll and Christie Carroll; her grandchildren, Dawn Keaton (Zach), Brian Smith, Jennifer Owens (Justin), Frank Holt, Jamie Roberts, Adam Reed, Tiffany Wareh, Alana Hillard (Preston) and Julian Smith; her great grandchildren, Grace Keaton, Aubrey Keaton, Turner Owens, Isabella Holt, Bryson Holt, Jayden Wareh and Oliver Hillard; and her sister Brenda Berry. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and great friends.
