She was predeceased by: her mother Lillie Mae Dellinger; her husband Leon Bowman; and her siblings, Ray Dellinger, Norma Lane, Nelda Guthrie, Neida Pope and Jean Frye.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tamara Bowman (Peter Simon) and Kim Woolley (Kirk); her brothers, Roy Dellinger (Judith) and Floyd Benfield (Martha); her grandchildren, Logan Simon, Leah Simon, Sarah Woolley (Jordan Cottle) and Katrina Woolley; and her great grandchild Lily Anne Cottle.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Triangle Aphasia Project in Cary, NC.
