Joan Drake Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Drake (Durham, North Carolina), born in Queens, New York, who passed away on June 26, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Albert Drake II and Marylin Frances Drake; her sister Pati Kiernan; and her goddaughter Kara Elizabeth Drake. She is survived by: her sons, Ryan Moeller and James William Fowler, Jr.; her stepdaughters, Tracy Fowler Fuquay and Nikki Fowler Medlin; her siblings, Kelley Frances Drake, Erin Drake, Kathi Murphy, Wayne A. Drake, Wesley A. Drake, William "Bill" A. Drake and Wiley A. Drake; and her grandchildren, Leah Fuquay, Brooke Fuquay and Ethan Medlin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
