It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn Sandling Adcock (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Sandling and Audrey Mabel Bailey Sandling; and her sister Mildred Adams (David). She is survived by: her husband Edward Earl Adcock; her daughters, Debbie Johnson Goodwin (Dan) and Lori Carden Williams; her grandchildren, Matthew Jackson (Cecily), Amber Riggs (Alex Mazzone) and Justin Wilson; her great grandchildren, Mckayla Jackson, Mason Jackson, Maverick Jackson, Hayden Riggs and Braylee Mazzone; her brother Bobby Sandling (Pam); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Englebright, Shirley Oakley, Jenny Elliott and Teresa Wheeler.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Summit Church (3263 Rose of Sharon Rd, Durham, NC 27712). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Summit Church North Campus (3263 Rose of Sharon Rd, Durham, NC 27712).
