He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Scilipote and Philomena Scilipote; his wife Barbara Redmond; his sister Frances Forcinelli; and his pets, Ivory and Missy.
He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Scilipote; his children, John Scilipote (Martha Williams), Lisa Scilipote and Peter Scilipote (Ryowon Kim); and his grandchildren, Soreya Scilipote (Royer Andreé) and Annika Bennett. He is also survived by his family, friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John's memory to the cats at Manatee County Animal Welfare Bishop Animal Shelter in Bradenton, FL.
