He was predeceased by: his parents, John McNally and Ruth McNally (Gilmore). He is survived by: his wife Gail Marie McNally (Guenther) of Durham, NC; his sons, Kevin McNally of Lynn, MA and Mike McNally; his daughter-in-law Rebecca McNally of Chapel Hill, NC; and his grandchildren, Grace, Liam, Violet and Logan.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Hock House Family Hospice Center in Durham, NC, or the Dementia Society of America.
