He was predeceased by: his parents, Donato Fragnito and Maria C. Fragnito (Ricci); his wife Immacolata Fragnito (Cocca); his sons, Daniel and Joseph Fragnito; and his sister Natalina Severo (Fragnito).

He is survived by: his son Richard Fragnito (Becky) of Raleigh, NC; his daughters-in-law, Michele Fragnito and Jamie Fragnito; his grandchildren, Angela Statile (Chris), Nicole Cianni (Jeff), Joseph Fragnito, Victoria Fragnito-Russo (Nick), Jacob Fragnito and Sarah Fragnito; and his great grandchildren, Julia Statile, Abby Statile, Ryan Statile, Andrew Cianni and Lyla Cianni. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
