He was predeceased by: his parents, John Owens and Mollie Lee Bunn Conner; and his wife Annabelle Gray Conner. He is survived by: his children, Douglas "Doug" Perry Conner (Bonnie) of Roxboro and Linda Travis (late Matt) of Durham; and his grandchildren, Melissa Conner Murray (Steve), Lara Travis Rowland (Doug), Daniel Perry Conner (Kelly), Joseph Matthew Travis (Natasha) and Julia Travis Haithcock (Adam). He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
