She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Thomas "Yank" Robertson and Lucy Riggan Robertson; and her husband James Hight Tippett. She is survived by: her children, Michael Tippett (Margie), Michelle Lynn Tippett-Ivey (Freddie) and Amy Sue Tippett; her grandchildren, Lauren Ivey, Dylan Ivey (Melissa), Caleb Ivey, Candace Tippett (Joseph), Sahara Sipple, Michael Sipple and Christopher Sipple; and her great grandchildren, Malayah Perry and Paris Perry.

Flowers are acceptable, or donations may be made to Hope Valley Baptist Church 6900 Garrett Road Durham, NC 27707.
