Judy May Hackworth Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy May Hackworth (Durham, North Carolina), born in Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Hackworth; her parents, Helen Atkinson and Leighton Atkinson; her siblings, Mary, Woodson, Horace and Gladys; her brother-in-law John Hackworth; and her mother-in-law Rosemary Hackworth.

She is survived by: her daughters, Victoria Rose Hackworth (Tim) and Vicki Heilig; her brother Charles Atkinson; and her godchildren, Hac and Christina Te. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
