He is survived by: his daughter LaSonja Renee Henderson (Stacey); his granddaughter Keyonna Mathis of Riverdale, GA; and his sisters, Ernestine Oliver (Eddie) of Durham, NC, Lillie Knight of Durham, NC, Beverly Zimmerman of Durham, NC, Linda Godwin of South Hampton, NJ and Vivian Henderson of Lithonia, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Holloway Memorial Funeral Home (2502 NC-55, Durham, NC 27713).
