She is survived by: her husband Jim Armstrong; her children, Terry Armstrong Summers (Jim Hall), Dave Armstrong (Teri) and Bryant Armstrong; her grandchildren, Kenton Summers (Gina), Landon Summers (Jessie), Kelsey Summers (Michael), Lisa Armstrong (Charlotte), Katie Armstrong and Jensen Armstrong; and her great grandchild Eden Summers. She is also survived by 8 dogs and 10 cats.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Sylvan United Methodist Church (5731 N Roxboro St, Durham, NC 27712).
