She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bidgood Wahmann and Eliza Grimes Wahmann; and her husband Cary Whitaker. She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Elizabeth Grimes Whitaker; her granddaughter Isabell Alexis "Bella" Mattox; and her children, Dr. Julia Waldo Whitaker and Cary Wahmann Whitaker.
