He is survived by: his daughter Anne Trotter (Rob) of Gainesville; his grandsons, Adam and Evan; his son Brian Caswallon Evans (Theresa Harris) of Silver Spring, Maryland.; and his partner Dietlinde Wittmann of Durham.
