He is survived by: his son Sherman Napoleon Hunter (Sharon); his grandchildren, Francis Scott of Franklinton, NC, Ebony Hunter and Sherman Napoleon Hunter Jr. of Springhope, NC; his siblings, William Edward Hunter (Martha Ann) of Franklinton, NC, Larry Hunter, Robert Hunter of Durham, NC, Cora Lyon (Alvis) of Durham, NC, Vivian Bailey of Durham, NC, Lorine Murray of Durham, NC and Diane Lyons (Carl) of Durham, NC; his uncle Paul Hunter of Oxford, NC; and his aunt Lucy Sanders (Billy) of Smyrna, DE. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
