In the vast expanse of eternity, may Lee find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Wade and Lelia Wade; his brother Learo Wayne Wade; his wife Virginia Ann Brooks; and his children, Sheila (Russell May), Cindy (Clay Gitter) and Michael (Tabitha Wade). He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ridgecrest Baptist Church (1104 Milton Rd, Durham, NC 27712). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
